Jungian Women & the Soul's Journey, Part Five
Online Workshop
Wednesdays from May 14th, 10am - 12:30pm
The Pregnant Virgin, Forty Years Later
Marion Woodman’s beautiful exploration of the Virgin archetype, The Pregnant Virgin: A Process of Psychological Transformation, is a book to reread over a lifetime. This year marks the 40th anniversary of its publication. In this six-week series we will explore the archetype of the Virgin, she who is “one-in-herself,” forever open to new life and new possibilities, and stands in the truth of her own authentic being and becoming. Come and join us as we gather in a circle of soulful women and ask ourselves: How do we embody our Virgin essence at age thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, and beyond? Writing and discussion, music and movement, poetry and active imagination will ground Marion’s wisdom in our personal experience. You will need a journal or notebook and a copy of the book. Weekly emails with additional material and writing prompts will keep the process alive between sessions.
Dates: Six Wednesdays from May 14th, 10 am – 12:30 pm (May 14, 21, 28, June 4, 11, 18)
