Jungian Women & the Soul's Journey, Part Four
Spring Study Group and
Writing Workshop
An Online Program
7 Tuesdays from May 9th - June 27th
10 am - 12:15 pm, PST
"The word in modern woman must become flesh within her own psyche by conscious creative work through her imagination. The form of this work no one can dictate. It must be discovered by the individual herself, a task demanding immense courage and perseverance." -Helen M. Luke
This series will focus on the work of three key figures in the Jungian world. Marie Louise von Franz is widely regarded as Jung’s most important colleague and collaborator. Her work on fairy tales and alchemy is unprecedented in brilliance and depth. Helen Luke’s quiet wisdom and exploration of “the perennial feminine” have inspired many subsequent Jungian women including Marion Woodman, whose commitment to “the conscious feminine,” it can be said, is as important as Jung’s exploration of the unconscious. These three very different Jungian women share an unwavering devotion to the life of the
soul and the lifelong individuation journey. We will read excerpts of their work and allow their wisdom to inspire our lives, creative process, and writing. Throughout the program you will receive weekly emails with printed material and questions for reflection and writing. This series will not repeat content from previous “Jungian Women and the Soul’s Journey” series. Repeat participants are welcome.
